Daniel Tripp holds an MS in Financial Planning from Golden Gate University (GGU) and a BA in Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy. Concluding his Master’s studies on a high note, Daniel was the recipient of GGU’s Outstanding Master’s Degree Student Award for the Financial Planning Department for the 2017 graduating class.
Daniel is an active member of the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) of San Francisco and serves on the NexGen committee, volunteering at various events including the San Francisco Financial Planning Day. He is also a Veteran of the United States Air Force with 12 years of military service.
Born and raised in Albany, New York, Daniel relocated to the Bay Area in 2015 to pursue a career in Financial Planning and to marry his wife Caitlyn. Together with their dog Macy, they live in the Glen Park neighborhood of San Francisco. In his free time, Daniel enjoys exploring the Bay Area, running, reading, watching documentaries, and spending time with his family and friends.
Client Focus: Dan approaches his work with Clients by viewing himself as a financial guide. He focuses on showing others the way to ascend through the risks and rewards of their personal financial lives.
Current Update: Dan and his wife, Caitlyn, are looking forward to spending time in San Francisco and exploring more of the North Bay. For 2019, Dan has set a goal for himself to read more, practice mindful mediation each day, and work on his professional development by meeting with other financial planners and attending conferences.
