Lauren Mireles holds an M.S in Organizational Development and Knowledge Management from George Mason University and a B.A in International Studies: Business and Economics from California University of Pennsylvania. Lauren also earned her Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional® certification from the College for Financial Planning, which helps her stay up-to-date on financial planning practices to better serve YeskeBuie’s Clients.

In conjunction with her bachelor’s degree, Lauren also earned a minor in Leadership. Her leadership training included traditional classes, and was supplemented by the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People certification and Stephen Covey “Leader for Life” certification. This training inspired Lauren to serve as an AmeriCorps Fellow during her final year of school, and dedicate herself to her university’s Peer Mentoring Program where she helped incoming, undecided students make the transition from high school to college. She continued this leadership focus throughout her master’s degree studies, where she designed and hosted an all-day workshop focused on harnessing one’s inner power, specifically teaching participants a method that involves managing energy rather than managing time to increase one’s productivity.

At YeskeBuie, these leadership experiences are manifested within Lauren’s work with every team in the company – operations, client service, financial planning, marketing, and business development. A lot of Lauren’s time is spent managing many of YeskeBuie’s business development initiatives, including planning our special events, coordinating and participating in meetings with centers of influence, planning and promoting our webinars, managing and editing TheLiveBigWay Digest, promoting social media communication, and more.

She also develops and runs internal initiatives including YeskeBuie’s annual staff retreats, strategic planning exercises, and other cultural work.

Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys cooking and baking, cycling with her favorite Peloton instructors, yoga, Zumba, and other aerobic and strength classes, walking and hiking, scrapbooking and DIY projects, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Lauren and her husband, Eli, live outside of Denver, CO and have two children; a two-year-old daughter, Aria, and an infant, Cameron.

Client Focus: Lauren approaches her work with Clients by viewing herself as a sounding board. She focuses on listening to a Client’s story, building an authentic relationship with them, and working to anticipate their needs proactively.

Current Update: Lauren is entering the new year energized by the momentum surrounding her transition to C3O. She feels deeply supported by her teammates and senses a strong readiness and shared enthusiasm from her fellow Co-CEOs. In this next chapter, she’s excited to expand her thought leadership by producing more high-quality content for TheLiveBigWay® Digest, webinars, and other platforms. She’s also looking forward to spending time together in person with the team this February, celebrating several of YeskeBuie’s meaningful milestones from the past year.

Outside the office, Lauren enjoyed a restful holiday season with her family, soaking in the magic of Christmas through her young children’s eyes, road-tripping to Breckenridge, CO, painting the kids’ rooms (magic wand purple and “Yoda green”), and leaning fully into organizing mode to start the year refreshed and reset. Looking ahead, she’s excited to celebrate her brother’s wedding in May and has two upcoming trips to Pennsylvania on the calendar for different festivities
