Grant Barlow is currently pursuing dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance, concentration in Corporate, and Financial Planning and Wealth Management from Virginia Tech’s CFP Certification Education track, a CFP Boad Registered Program. He is anticipated to graduate as an honors student in May 2025.

Grant began his career in financial planning with Yeske Buie as an Intern in May 2024, and is excited for the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the innerworkings of the financial planning process. Prior to joining Yeske Buie, Grant began his professional career as a Finance Intern for a food consulting firm in Melbourne, Australia called DJB Food Group. While working here, he had the opportunity to witness client meetings and assist clients as they expanded their products to retailers.

In his free time, Grant enjoys rock climbing, fly fishing, surfing, and anything else you can think of that involves the outdoors. He particularly enjoys raising money and completing the annual 30.1 mile Xtreme Hike focused on finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

Client Focus: Grant believes that trust is essential when it comes to developing successful client relationships. He looks forward to helping in any way he can to ensure that the firm’s clients are able to Live Big without financial stress.

Current Update: Grant is getting adjusted to the Northern Virginia area and discovering what it has to offer. So far, he has enjoyed spending time with his friends from Virginia Tech and meeting his very welcoming coworkers. As the summer ramps up, he looks forward to going to a Rolling Stones concert with his cousins and plans to go to at least one Nationals game.
