Thank You Big

Thank You Big

In my head, an infinite number of thoughts are swirling, trying to put words to this transition as I step down from my role at YeskeBuie.

But in my heart, one feeling is sitting calmly, reveling in the blessings of my life.  And that feeling is: Gratitude.  Gratitude at a level of awe and appreciation that reaches reverence.

My entire adult life has happened while I’ve been a financial planner.  And this profession has been an exquisite place to be. Of all the blessings it has brought to my life, at the pinnacle of that huge lovely pile of blessings … is you.  YeskeBuie Clients. I really am virtually speechless at how to thank you, but I will try.

Some of you hired me when I was in my 20s (what were you thinking?).  You trusted me to help you harness your resources in pursuit of the life you envisioned.  You trusted my advice.  You trusted my answers to your questions (with lots of great follow-up questions, which were a blessing to my growth and improvement!). You trusted me enough to share your biggest dreams, your “who and what matters and why,” and your fears and concerns. You trusted me enough to refer your friends, your coworkers and … your families, those who matter the most to you.  And most of all, you trusted me to join you on your life journey. My appreciation for the magnitude of that trust is impossible to put into words.  But suffice to say that I have felt it, honored it, and appreciated you for it for the past 42 years. And now, you have trusted me enough to embrace the next generation of financial planners, trusting (but verifying!!) we would ensure that our standard of excellence would never be compromised.

In my 42 years of doing this, I have come to the firm conclusion that Financial Planning is magic.  It provides something that is greater than the sum of its parts. I feel it.  I hope you feel it as well. And I look forward to seeing YeskeBuie continue to build that magic into the future for and with our Clients.

Thank you.

For making my life more fulfilling, more loving, more awake and open, more abundant.
For making my life better in more ways than you will ever know.
For being the exquisite, loving humans you are.

Even though you are not getting rid of me (Dave and I plan to be harder to shake than a bad habit), I do want to leave you with my wish for you going forward:

May your life be everything you want and everything you imagine.
May you always be content wherever you are at the moment.
May the beings and life purposes that matter to you thrive and grow and feed your soul.

With deepest love and appreciation,
