

Austin Sanchez recently graduated from San Francisco State University where he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, focusing on sustainability and social justice. During his time as a student, Austin balanced academics, leadership, and public service while preparing for his next professional chapter. One of his leadership positions included serving as the Military Heroes Campaign Chair for Kappa Sigma Fraternity where he helped support and advocate for veteran and first responder-related initiatives. He was also selected as a fellow for the Willie L. Brown, Jr. Fellowship, the King Hall Outreach Program, and the Warrior-Scholar Project.
In addition to his campus involvement, Austin worked at the City College of San Francisco Veteran Resource Center supporting fellow student veterans as they navigated educational opportunities and resources. He later served as a policy intern with the San Francisco Environment Department’s Commercial Zero Waste Team where he contributed to initiatives focused on sustainability and public policy.
Prior to university, Austin served in the United States Navy. His experiences in military service, higher education, and public service helped develop the discipline, adaptability, and commitment to service that he brings to his work today.
Joining YeskeBuie, Austin is excited to contribute to a Client-focused organization while continuing to grow professionally alongside a team of experienced advisors and support staff. He looks forward to helping create a positive experience for Clients while learning more about the financial planning profession.
In his free time, Austin enjoys traveling, photographing new places, music, and taking on long-term projects. He has visited 15 countries and is always looking forward to his next adventure. When he is not traveling, he can be found at the gym or working on his pickup truck.

Current Update: Austin recently joined the YeskeBuie team and is focused on learning the firm’s procedures, technologies, and processes. Outside of work, he spends time with his dog, Rango, is making steady progress on his truck restoration, and is always planning future travel.
