

Erin Huff is a rising senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech’s CFP Certification Education track, a CFP Board Registered Program. During the academic year, she works as a Financial Literacy Student Educator and serves as a Teaching Assistant for finance and investment courses.
Erin has earned a place on the Dean’s List every semester during her time at Virginia Tech. She was also selected as a recipient of the 2025 Charles Schwab Foundation Scholars in Financial Planning Scholarship.
In the summer of 2025, Erin completed an internship in corporate financial planning where she gained exposure to employer-sponsored retirement plans and stock compensation programs. This experience strengthened her understanding of employer perspectives on financial planning and reinforced her passion for helping others through financial literacy education. She is excited to continue building on this knowledge while expanding her impact as a future financial planning professional.
Outside of academics and work, Erin enjoys dancing with a student-run, hip-hop dance crew at Virginia Tech, and watching reality television with her mom and sister.
Client Focus: Erin believes that having the knowledge and tools to improve your financial situation is the key to reducing financial stress. She hopes to become a financial planner so she can help people make the most of their money. While interning at YeskeBuie, she is especially excited to learn the best ways to help others Live Big® while making smart financial decisions.
Current Update: Erin is thrilled to begin her internship at YeskeBuie and looks forward to getting to know both the team and the Clients. She has been having a great time sitting in on Client meetings, gaining valuable insight into the profession, and assisting the team with administrative tasks whenever possible. Erin is especially excited to apply the knowledge and experience she gains this summer to her coursework at Virginia Tech in the fall.
On a personal note, Erin has an exciting trip planned for Juneteenth weekend. She will be taking her sister to Blacksburg to show her around campus, share some of her favorite spots, and give her a glimpse into life at Virginia Tech. During the visit, Erin also plans on catching up with friends who are spending the summer conducting research at Virginia Tech, making it a fun relaxing weekend.
