Kacie Fawls, CFP^® holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech’s CFP Certification Education track, a CFP Board Registered Program. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2021.

Kacie began her career in financial planning with Yeske Buie as an Intern in June 2020, and is excited for the opportunity to help the firm’s Clients reach their goals with a tight-knit group of talented professionals as a full-time Assistant Financial Planner. Prior to joining Yeske Buie, Kacie began her professional career as a Finance Intern for the Defense Logistics Agency, an agency within the Department of Defense. She worked for the Financial Policy Team which was created to write official procedure documents to improve the agency’s internal controls.

In her free time, Kacie enjoys long runs and walks, biking, hiking, coffee talks, and finding new ways to turn plants into dessert!

She has a passion for helping people and gets a great sense of fulfillment from holding someone’s hand during the tough times, helping to alleviate stress, making someone’s life easier in any way that she can. She is excited to meet Clients and is ready to jump at any opportunity to serve them in order to best meet their needs.

Current Update: 2024 has gotten off to a busy start for Kacie as she begins to navigate her role as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER. Between the normal beginning of the year tasks and welcoming Rustin and Tim to the team, Kacie has been challenged in the best way possible. She is looking forward continuing to get to know Rustin and Tim as well as navigate her way with her new marks and cannot wait to see what the rest of 2024 has in store!
