Prior to joining Yeske Buie, Kacie began her professional career as a Finance Intern for the Defense Logistics Agency, an agency within the Department of Defense. She worked for the Financial Policy Team which was created to write official procedure documents to improve the agency’s internal controls.
In her free time, Kacie enjoys long runs and walks, biking, hiking, coffee talks, and finding new ways to turn plants into dessert!
Client Focus: Kacie believes in the importance of vulnerability in order to help foster a trusting environment for anyone she meets. She has a passion for helping people and gets a great sense of fulfillment from holding someone’s hand during the tough times, helping to alleviate stress, making someone’s life easier in any way that she can. She is excited to meet Clients and is ready to jump at any opportunity to serve them in order to best meet their needs.
Current Update: Now in the thick of winter, Kacie has been working hard to balance work with motherhood since winter weather on the east coast has shut down schools for several days at a time. Fortunately, Jack has had the time of his life playing in the snow but Kacie is ready for warmer days and lots of sunshine. In her free time, Kacie started training for the Cherry Blossom 10-Miler in April, her first big race since running the Hokie Half Marathon in 2019! In the three weeks since her training started, Kacie has started to fall back in love with running and has been looking forward to her runs each day, finding a peaceful reset in her milage.
Professionally, this year started off with a bang with beginning-of-year trades, client meetings, and professional events. Despite the busyness of life, Kacie is excited to see what 2025 has in store!
