River Galland
FINANCIAL PLANNING INTERN
River Galland holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, graduating in June 2024. Currently, River is pursuing the CFP® designation and plans to sit for the exam in November 2024.
River’s journey into financial planning began during his internship at Ridgecrest Wealth Partners, where he fell in love with helping clients live stress-free lives and navigate the complexities of life changes. He later worked as a Financial Operations Specialist at Blakeslee & Blakeslee, where he honed his skills in client data management, financial reporting, and client relationship building. These experiences solidified his passion for financial planning and his commitment to supporting Clients in achieving their financial goals.
At Cal Poly, River was an active member of the Financial Management Association, where he engaged with industry professionals, participated in workshops, and developed his knowledge and skills in financial planning. His involvement in the association provided valuable networking opportunities and deepened his understanding of the financial industry. Additionally, River was a dedicated member of the Cal Poly Surf Team, where he enjoyed the camaraderie and competition of collegiate surfing. His time on the surf team allowed him to balance his academic pursuits with his passion for the ocean and outdoor adventures.
In his free time, River enjoys playing golf, surfing, and adventuring in the outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, camping, or exploring new places, River is always up for an adventure. When he’s not busy perfecting his golf swing, catching waves, or getting lost on a trail, you can find him plotting his next great escape.

He is dedicated to understanding each Client’s unique needs and goals, fostering a relationship built on trust and transparency. River aims to empower Clients to live their Live Big lives with confidence and peace of mind.
Current Update: River is thrilled to join Yeske Buie and is eager to enhance his financial planning skills. As he settles into the San Francisco area, he looks forward to exploring the local community and meeting his new colleagues. This summer, River is excited to attend a few concerts with his friends as well as go watch a couple Giants games along the way.
