|Investment Updates: A Little Fine Tuning|
|We made a few changes to our portfolios this week that we thought we’d share. These adjustments are technical in nature and constitute fine-tuning more than anything else.|
|Meet the Team – Lauren Grove|
|As an Assistant Financial Planner in the Vienna, VA office, Lauren works closely with the Financial Planning Team and with clients to ensure their financial planning needs are met and to help them achieve their Live Big® goals.
|Lauren recently returned from a big family cruise to the Bahamas. She is missing the tropical islands and family members who returned to far away homes, but happy to be back on land. Lauren recently became the newest permanent member of Yeske Buie! She is thrilled to join the team and is looking forward to her future here. Learn more about Lauren|
|Elissa and Dave…as Dolls!|
|The ever thoughtful Cheryl Holland and the wonderful team at Abacus Planning Group sent us this beautiful artisan craft to celebrate Elissa and Dave being chosen for Investment News‘ 15 Transformational Advisers list.Elissa and Dave’s favorite part about being selected was the decision by InvestmentNews to represent them as a unit. The Abacus team did a great job of creatively representing that. Thanks Abacus!|
|Adrift: An Homage to the Fog of San Francisco Bay||Wine Country Half Marathon: Dave Survives 13 Miles in the Virginia Sun|
|Our friend Bill Dix just shared this video by Simon Christen with us, noting that “we spent a limited amount of time in San Francisco during our Orange County days, but we never saw fog the way he does.” Indeed. A beautiful look at the weather feature that so defines San Francisco.||Early last month, Dave walked the Virginia Wine Country Half Marathon, as did daughter Lauren and a handful of other relatives, including: Jillian, Karen, Melissa, and Tony. By the end of the race, marathon officials had determined that Dave was the only one of the 2,100 participants who covered the entire 13.1 miles wearing blue jeans.
