The 411 on 2FA
Visualize your typical morning routine. It’s likely that before 10:00am, you’ve logged into at least a dozen different online accounts including social media accounts, online bank accounts, retail sites and more. Tax Day Reminder
This year, you have a few extra days to file your 2015 Federal and State tax returns as Tax Day 2016 falls on April 18th. Why the delayed date, you may ask? You can thank Washington, D.C. for the extra three days. Washington, D.C. recognizes Emancipation Day as a government holiday which is typically observed on April 16th. This year, however, April 16th falls on a Saturday, so the holiday will be observed on Friday, April 15th. Because government offices will be closed April 15th, Tax Day is moved to Monday, April 18th.
As we do every year, we will be sending emails to request 2015 Federal and State tax returns from Clients shortly after April 18th to help us better serve our Clients throughout the year. If you already have a copy of your tax return, you may send the document to us using any of the methods described here.
