We talked about the importance of financial literacy skills earlier in this newsletter. As with any skill, practice and proficiency can have significant benefits. Some benefits of financial literacy include less financial stress, more control and confidence over your finances, and increased likelihood of setting and reaching goals. You may even find that you reach a feeling of financial independence, which everyone defines differently. Start defining financial independence for yourself here.
As we’re sure you’re well aware, the deadline to file your 2022 tax return is next Tuesday, April 18*. Tuesday is also the deadline to make first quarter estimated tax payments and serves as the last day to contribute to an IRA or HSA for the 2022 tax year. If there’s any way we can assist as the deadline nears, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
