Stock markets around the world continue to be roiled by investor anxiety over the state of the U.S. and world economy, corporate earnings, the price of oil, and the intentions of the Federal Reserve and other central banks. This is not new stuff, of course, investors are always looking for something to worry about and they can usually find it. So how do we navigate this inevitable reality? We believe it requires us to embrace four fundamental truths and three simple rules.
February marks the beginning of our annual process of distributing our Clients’ Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) from their IRAs. Now that Schwab has released their annual RMD report, the Financial Planning Team is reviewing each IRA from which an RMD is required to ensure enough cash is available for the distribution. In most cases, RMDs will be distributed by the end of the month (some Clients have already received theirs); for our Clients who use their RMD amount as their annual spending target, we’ll track the distributions throughout the year to ensure the required amount is satisfied. Learn more about RMDs and Yeske Buie’s process for managing the distributions.
Where in the World is the Live Big® Glass?
Today we share four new photos of individuals enjoying their Live Big glass from all over the country. Furthermore, these four photos highlight how living big is not about “spending big” or “living large”, but rather about finding joy in ordinary places of your everyday life. Whether you enjoy Skype calls with family and friends, watching the sunset, or learning a new dance, if it brings you joy then it helps you Live Big. After all, it’s about the size of your life, not the size of your wallet®. We hope you enjoy the four additions to our gallery and we hope you will send us pictures with your glass as you Live Big.
