April is Financial Literacy Month
Financial Literacy is defined as the ability to understand how to earn, manage, invest, and donate money. At Yeske Buie, we believe that it can never be too early – or too late! – to learn financial literacy skills. In recognition of Financial Literacy month, we share a few of our favorite resources with the hope of educating and empowering you and your loved ones with a foundation for financial success:
- Yeske Buie’s Financial Literacy Program: From our Money Savvy Piggy bank to “Generation Earn”, Yeske Buie shares tools with our Clients to facilitate financial conversations with children and young adults.
- A Jewel of Financial Tools: The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s website offers a variety of reliable guides and worksheets for education on paying for college, getting an auto loan, mortgages, and more.
- Yeske Buie Resources: Our archive of financial planning-related posts shares easy-to-read articles on topics ranging from RMDs, to renting vs. buying, to estate planning considerations and more.

Tax Return Request
Each year, we request a copy of our Clients’ most recent tax return to better serve them throughout the year. Exactly how the information is used varies from Client to Client but may include analyzing Roth conversions, updating retirement capital projections, calculating tax projections, and tracking tax data that can impact investment decisions. To securely send us a return, we ask that Clients use one of the methods described here.
