Tim Connolly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Kenyon College and is currently enrolled in the Financial Planning Certificate graduate program at Golden Gate University to fulfill the educational requirements towards becoming a CFP Professional.

In addition to his studies at Kenyon College, Tim was a member of the Men’s Varsity Basketball team and is one of the 27 players to eclipse 1,000 points in Kenyon’s history. Additionally, he was a member of the Kenyon Student Athlete Association and volunteered at Transition Mission, a program designed for special needs individuals. After graduating, Tim held roles in tax consulting where he was responsible for working directly with business owners, executives, and other allied professionals to identify and quantify tax strategies related to company research and development.

During COVID, Tim decided to instead utilize his education and professional knowledge directly with individuals. Since joining financial planning, Tim has enjoyed working with all different types of individuals to help think through their financial lives and empower them to Live Big.

In his free time, Tim enjoys playing basketball, competing with (and sometimes against) his wife in various athletic events, and exploring the city on foot with his wife and dog. When not playing sports, Tim can usually be found with his family and friends supporting his favorite local sports teams (go Niners and Warriors!) and spending time catching up at one of the many great places to eat around the city.

Client Focus: Tim’s favorite part of financial planning is the ability to work with so many talented and interesting people. He truly enjoys being able to think with people to help them use their financial resources to empower their lives. He is excited to be a newly minted member of the Yeske Buie team and has been getting acquainted with all our systems and tools, but he is most excited to start working with our amazing Clients!

Current Update: It was a busy end to 2024 as Tim got to put his newly earned mark, CFP® to the test as end of year planning ramped up! With 2025 now here, Tim and the Financial Planning team have delved into much of things that come with the new year like investing year end income from portfolios, rebalancing, delving into how we can best support our clients and allied professionals during tax season, and much more. It’s a busy and exciting time here!

Personally, it’s been a great start to the year. After Christmas, a wedding in Charleston (where Leslie and Tim got to visit family), and Leslie’s birthday, the torrid pace of the holidays has begun to settle  down. Tim, Leslie, and Willy have enjoyed playoff football and having time to get back to their favorite hobbies and their routine. Tim and Leslie are looking forward to the longer days coming up and the warmer weather of summer!
