Making Mindfulness Work in Your Everyday Life
Many agree that mindfulness practices feel good in the moment, but it can be difficult to intentionally make time for these moments in your daily life. We share a virtual experience where meditation teacher Jane Cunningham joins us again to share how you can make mindfulness work in your everyday life. During the session, Jane provides:
- A brief explanation of the nature and benefits of mindfulness and the difference between meditation and mindfulness.
- A guided breath practice to activate the parasympathetic (calming) nervous system, ground and synchronize the body and mind, and cultivate concentration.
- A guided open awareness practice.
