A Special Event – A World of Opportunity: The Evolution of Investing

We’d like to extend a warm thank you to all those who attended our special event this Wednesday! Our team enjoyed insightful conversations, delicious hors d’oeuvres and sweet treats, and a fabulous presentation from DFA’s “Secretary of Explaining Stuff” who lived up to his title. Apollo’s presentation answered questions from the audience on active vs. passive management, the current global economy, and more. We’ve put together a small gallery of photos from the event below. Apollo used drawings to help explain investment concepts – it’s easier to identify the patterns of a school of fish than those of individual fish.

Apollo also discussed returns and DFA’s approach to managing risk.

A lovely display of treats was enjoyed following the presentation to end the night with a sweet note.
