A widely quoted analyst who focuses on how Congress and the White House shape fiscal policy, Mr. Valliere began his career at The Washington Post. He later became Chief Congressional Correspondent and then News Editor of F-D-C Reports, a trade publication that monitors the drug and cosmetic industries. Mr. Valliere is a regular co-host of CNBC’s Squawk Box and a frequent guest on the network’s Market Wrap, CNN’s Business Day, and the Nightly Business Report on PBS.
