Some of the richest returns come from time well spent, and this summer gave us two evenings that made that abundantly clear. What a special time it was to gather Clients, colleagues, and friends in San Francisco and Vienna to celebrate the relationships that have carried this firm for decades, and to properly toast Dave’s and Elissa’s retirement.
In San Francisco, the University Club filled with exactly the kind of conversation you’d hope for. In his toast, Yusuf spoke about time: how much of it Clients have shared with Dave and Elissa over the years, trusting them with their stories, their milestones, and their life journeys. It’s a reminder that this work has always been about the people, the lives, and the moments we get to share along the way.
In Virginia, heavy rain rolled in just as our celebration began at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, but it never stood a chance against the warmth in the room. Clients kept arriving, laughter kept building, and by the time the skies cleared, the evening was everything we hoped for. Kids ran around with our team, old friends caught up like no time had passed, and more than a few hugs reminded us why we do this.
Two coasts, one sentiment: the trust you place in us and the stories behind your Live Big® goals are what make this work worth doing.
