Together Again

After more than two years apart, the entire Yeske Buie team had the opportunity to connect in person (!!) for our Annual Staff Retreat in October 2022. The Annual Staff Retreat is a time for the team to deepen our commitment to our service to our Clients, our understanding of our core values, leadership principles, and communication agreements, and our connections to each other. We held our 2020 and 2021 Retreats in a virtual space, but coming together again in person was extra special.

During our time together this year, the team spent time appreciating one another, sharing personal presentations about each of our core values, and openly discussing our thoughts, excitements, goals, and potential obstacles for the future of Yeske Buie. The team’s creativity shined brightly during the presentations of our core values and included a clip from Ted Lasso to highlight the importance of curiosity, in depth research about the physical benefits of giving, a clip from a Disney+ Short Circuit series, an interactive puzzle demonstration, mathematical proof that 2 = 1, and much, much, more.

And of course, if you know our group, we had a little fun along the way enjoying delicious meals together, lively conversations, and a mini golf competition.
