If you’re following this year’s March Madness tournament, chances are high that your bracket busted with the historic upset of UMBC over UVA – sorry, Wahoos! While you can’t ask for a redo on your basketball bracket, we’d like to share with you an opportunity to start anew with the 32 options on the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) and Financial Planning Association® (FPA) Financial Four bracket. For nearly a decade, these two organizations have partnered to share an interactive bracket that can’t be busted. Rather than picking basketball teams, this bracket challenges you to prioritize the financial areas of your life that are most important to you – we encourage you to check it out!

Tax Day 2018
Tax Day is just a few weeks away on Tuesday, April 17th, which marks the deadline for making a contribution to a Traditional or Rollover IRA, Roth IRA, Health Savings Account (HSA), SEP-IRA or Solo 401(k). If you file an extension, then the latter two can receive contributions until October 15th. Shortly after Tax Day, we will send an email request to ask for a copy of your completed 2017 return, as we do every year. The information provided in your tax return helps us to best serve you throughout the year as we perform tax related analysis. If your return is completed in advance of the deadline, feel free to send the documents to us using any of the methods described here.
