Weekend Chart Challenge – Revisited

Back in 2015, we offered the Weekend Chart Challenge as a way to put into perspective the market volatility that was grabbing everyone’s attention. While we’ve had plenty of good times in the market over the last few years, it’s always the rough times – like the end of 2018 – that make investors ask what’s up and what’s next. The answer, as always, is that we don’t know what’s next in the short run but we do have a high degree of confidence where we’re heading in the long run. With this in mind, we offer another visual pop quiz to give some perspective.

Tax Day 2019

Calendar Series | Tax Deadline

Tax Day is less than two weeks away, Monday, April 15th, and marks the deadline for making a contribution to a Traditional or Rollover IRA, Roth IRA, Health Savings Account (HSA), SEP-IRA or Solo 401(k). If you file an extension, then the latter two can receive contributions until October 15th. Shortly after Tax Day, we will send an email request to ask for a copy of your completed 2018 return, as we do every year. The information provided in your tax return helps us to best serve you throughout the year as we perform tax related analysis. If your return is completed in advance of the deadline, feel free to send the documents to us using any of the methods described here.
