2025 Tax Filing Season
The 2025 tax season is here. The IRS began accepting 2024 tax returns on January 27, 2025. Looking ahead, we plan to use this space to share regular reminders about the information you (and/or your accountant) need to prepare your annual tax return. The Schwab 1099-Rs (tax forms for retirement accounts with distributions in 2024) are now available and Schwab has informed us they expect your 1099 forms for taxable accounts (e.g. Trust and Individual brokerage accounts) to be available via Schwab Alliance by February 14.
