It’s (Almost) Tax Season
The IRS has announced that the beginning of the 2023 tax season will be Monday, January 23. The deadline to file returns is Tuesday, April 18, or Monday, October 16 for those requesting an extension. The IRS has hired thousands of employees to answer phones and help taxpayers after significant delays the past few seasons.
