Our Steps, Serving You

Our Steps, Serving You

client centered
client centered

You, our Clients, are always on our minds – whether we’re thinking about additional ways to support you or simply hoping that your recent life event was everything you hoped it would be. Sometimes we get to connect with you directly and other times, our care shows up in the daily details that keep you moving forward.

What do these daily activities look like? Let’s review some of the analysis, strategy, and communication we engage in each day to help keep every Client’s financial plan stays strong and on track.

Reviewing Client Account Alerts and Daily Deposits and Withdrawals

Our team looks at every Client account every single day. For our Associate Financial Planners, each morning starts with a review of various alerts from Schwab including phone number or address changes on accounts, updated beneficiaries, money movement into or out of accounts, and recent trades.

If any of these happen in your account, rest assured that we will take notice.

In addition to these Schwab alerts, we also review a report detailing all of the deposits and withdrawals in all of our Clients’ accounts. This helps us stay aware of available cash and confirm that everything is as expected.

Assessing the Day’s Priorities

We use technology, specifically Salesforce, as a tool to stay organized so that nothing falls through the cracks in our care for you. Our dynamic task lists are crucial for several reasons:

  • Accountability: Tasks help keep us accountable to important events and deadlines. They often reinforce what’s already on our radar, but the reminder provides an extra measure of diligence.
  • Organization: Tasks help us use our time effectively and identify what’s most important and needs to be done first.
  • Precision: Accuracy is of paramount importance in the work that we do. Our task lists and workflows help us remember every single step of the process and keep us focused on delivering consistent, high-quality care to each and every Client.

Managing our task lists can helps us do effective work and provide the highest standard of service to our Clients, though we also recognize the need to balance this checklist with critical thinking and what we know about you. It’s this combination that allows us to serve you to our standard of excellence.

Analyzing Financial Reports and Updating Financial Plans

Next, we spend time researching different opportunities and strategies to provide our Clients with effective and personalized recommendations. When we make recommendations, our grounded philosophy on financial planning and how the world works serves as a foundation that we build upon based on what we know about you, your goals, and your values. And every situation is different! In fact, we’re often navigating through plans that contain a level of uncertainty and ambiguity, and it’s our job to artfully apply our knowledge with purpose so that we can continue to be evidence-based and firm in our beliefs and actions. Financial planning is a dynamic process – one that’s constantly evolving and changing.

Connecting with Clients

If you were to ask our team what our favorite part about being financial planners is, there’s a strong chance that the answer would be our strong relationships with our Clients. We are uniquely privileged to build meaningful, long-term relationships with our Clients, and it is an honor to get to support Clients as they set and achieve their goals, pursue new careers, expand their families, and undertake new journeys. Being there through the ups and downs of life’s journey is a true blessing, and our role in helping Clients think through these opportunities and challenges is a large part of what we do.

We are grateful for every opportunity to connect with you whether it be via email, a phone call, a video meeting or meeting with you in our office, seeing you at one of our in-person events, virtual webinars, or virtual holiday parties, or running into you on the street. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us whenever you’d like to connect!
